The service

Fact vs Hype provides sourced product information, community experiences, evidence, and scoped editorial findings. Information can be incomplete or outdated. It does not certify security, legal compliance, fitness, or a guaranteed outcome. Check current vendor terms and your own requirements before relying on a product.

Your account

Use an account you control. Keep access credentials secure and provide accurate disclosures. Do not impersonate another person, evade restrictions, manipulate counts, scrape private material, or interfere with the service.

Your contributions

You retain rights to your content. You give the operator permission to store, display, review, and make technical copies needed to operate the features you choose. Only upload content you have the right to provide. Public evidence visibility is a separate choice and requires approval.

Review, correction, and removal

The operator may review, restrict, or remove material under the guidelines and applicable law. Decisions can be appealed through the contact queue. Published revisions and scoped findings may change as evidence develops. Account deletion and withdrawal follow the privacy policy.

Third-party products and sources

External products and sources are controlled by their respective owners. A link or listing is not an endorsement or guarantee. Vendor replies represent that vendor, and firsthand reports represent the contributor’s tested conditions.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or error-free content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date and policy text.
